About the event
The core of Blackwood resides within the deep musical sympatico between pianist Peter-Anthony Togni and bass clarinetist Jeff Reilly. Presenting their beautiful and uniquely lyrical approach to music that straddles the boundary areas between jazz and classical, Peter and Jeff have toured the world, garnered 4 Juno nominations between them, recorded for illustrious lables like ECM, Warner Classics and ATMA Classique, and presented over 100 concerts in the Halifax area over the past 25 years.
